Today, Mr. Kashif Ali, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Karachi, Pakistan, and Mr. Tudor Ulianovschi, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, on his first visit to Pakistan, were graciously received by Mr. Irfan Soomro, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Pakistan, at his official guesthouse.
The meeting facilitated a constructive and cordial exchange of views, with both sides discussing forthcoming initiatives to advance diplomatic, cultural, social, and economic collaboration between the Republic of Moldova and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The discussions also highlighted business and investment opportunities in the Republic of Moldova, with particular emphasis on encouraging trade and strengthening economic linkages between the two countries. Mr. Irfan Soomro highlighted the economic potential of Sindh Province as a center for commerce and industry, while both sides acknowledged opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Mr. Kashif Ali reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Moldova’s diplomatic outreach in Pakistan and expressed his dedication to supporting initiatives that promote mutually beneficial partnerships. Mr. Irfan Soomro acknowledged Mr. Kashif Ali’s efforts in strengthening Moldova–Pakistan relations and reiterated the Ministry’s support for continued engagement.
Both sides expressed optimism regarding future cooperation and reaffirmed their shared resolve to further deepen bilateral ties and promote mutual understanding.
