We work to strengthen political, economic, cultural and educational ties between the Republic of Moldova and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, promote trade and investment, and support citizens and visitors in need of consular assistance

Our Mission

The Honorary Consulate pursues a clear and focused mandate:

  • To represent and advance the interests of the Republic of Moldova in Pakistan.
  • To provide effective consular assistance to Moldovan nationals and to support Pakistan–Moldova contacts in business, education and culture.
  • To promote bilateral trade, investment and people-to-people links, in line with international law and Moldova’s foreign policy priorities.

We act as a reliable contact point for governments, businesses, academic institutions and citizens seeking information or partnership with Moldova.

Cooperation with Institutional Partners

The Consulate cooperates with Chambers of Commerce, trade associations, universities and cultural organisations to foster mutually beneficial projects. Priority sectors for engagement include agriculture & agribusiness, textiles, information & communication technology, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy and academic exchanges.

Principal Functions of the Honorary Consul

Consular Assistance

We support Moldovan citizens in Pakistan with information and guidance on emergency assistance, temporary documentation, registration, and liaison with Moldovan authorities where required. The Consulate advises on procedures and helps coordinate urgent consular interventions.

Document Guidance & Information

The Consulate provides authoritative guidance about consular procedures (passport renewals, civil status registration, notarial formalities, legalization/attestation of documents). Where services must be completed in Moldova or at the Embassy, we clearly explain the required steps and documentation.

Visa & Travel Information

The Consulate supplies official information on visa procedures and travel requirements for Pakistan–Moldova travel. (Note: visa issuance may be processed by the Embassy or other designated authorities; applicants should consult the Consulate for accurate guidance and up-to-date requirements.)

Business & Investment Facilitation

We encourage business dialogue and investment between Pakistani and Moldovan partners. The Consulate assists with introductions to relevant trade and investment stakeholders, promotes opportunities in priority sectors, and supports business delegations and networking initiatives.

Cultural, Educational & Scientific Cooperation

The Consulate promotes academic and cultural exchanges, supports cooperation between universities and cultural institutions, and helps facilitate participation in joint programmes, scholarships and cultural events.

Emergency Liaison & Crisis Support

In emergencies affecting Moldovan citizens (medical emergencies, arrests, natural disasters, or other crises), the Consulate acts as a liaison with local authorities and Moldovan government entities to ensure appropriate assistance and follow-up.
